Choose a remedy: No one has all the measles symptoms for a given remedy so choose based on the most prominent ones. If symptoms change, take a remedy that matches your new symptoms.

Dosage: At onset of symptoms, take 6C, 12X, 12C, or 30C every two to three hours during intense stages, tapering down to three times daily, then once a day* or see the Dosage Chart.

When symptoms improve, stop taking the remedy.
Repeat if symptoms return
If no improvement after 2-3 days, try a different remedy

Notes:

Seek professional health care for severe headache, excessive lethargy, vomiting; ruptured blood vessels under the skin; severe earache; bleeding from the rectum, nose or mouth; difficulty breathing; measles in a child under 6 months of age; when there is a bad cough lasting longer than 4 days.
If a self-selected remedy – however well indicated – doesn’t help and symptoms are more serious than you expect for measles, you need to seek medical expertise. A doctor will provide a diagnosis and/or a professional homeopath can evaluate your symptoms in the context of your whole person. Please call your doctor’s office before showing up in case they have special ways to treat measles patients without exposing other patients to this highly contagious disease.
