Choose a remedy: No one has all the symptoms for a given remedy so choose based on the closest match. If symptoms change, take a remedy that matches your new symptoms.
Dosage: One 12X, 6C, 12C, 30C dose. Then one dose after each episode of vomiting. The symptoms should lessen over time. Or, see the Dosage Chart
- If no improvement in 6-8 hours, find a better fitting remedy.
Notes:
- If your baby is just spitting up, this does not need to be treated because she has just overfilled her belly or trapped gas caused the milk to come up with the burp. Vomiting is different – it involves a degree of force pushing up the stomach contents. Be sure your baby has not swallowed something she should not have eaten.
- If a self-selected remedy – however well indicated – doesn’t help or your child’s symptoms worsen such as with severe weakness, dehydration or abdominal pain, see your pediatrician.
- If your child’s vomiting is the result of milk intolerance and vomiting is a chronic issue, a professional homeopath may be able to get to the root of the problem.
