Whooping Cough - HomeoSource

Choose a remedy: No one has all the whooping cough symptoms for a given remedy so choose based on the most prominent ones. When symptoms change, take a remedy that matches the new symptoms.

Dosage: At onset of symptoms, 6C or 12X after each bout of coughing for up to 2 days.*

When symptoms improve, stop taking the remedy.
If no improvement after 2 days, try a different remedy that better matches the symptoms.
However, if your child’s condition is worsening, do not wait 2 days to see your doctor.

If a self-selected remedy – however well indicated – doesn’t help and your child’s whooping cough is not improving, you need to seek medical expertise. If your doctor prescribes medicine, you may simultaneously give the homeopathic remedy that most closely matches symptoms.
Medicated cough drops with camphor, eucalyptus, menthol may antidote homeopathic medicine.
