Choose a remedy that most closely matches your symptoms. If symptoms change, choose a remedy that most closely matches the new symptoms.
Dosage:
- Start with Arnica and follow with one of the other remedies
- Unless otherwise noted, 6, 12 or 30C every 2 -3 hours for severe pain; every 4 -6 hours for milder pain; See the Dosage Chart.
- Stop when improved by 75%.
- If not improving after a day or two, try a different remedy.
- Repeat if pain returns.
Notes:
- The remedies below are in addition to standard care: wraps, immobilization, ice, elevation, rest as prescribed by your health care provider.
- Any joint pain (especially weight bearing joints) that is accompanied by high fever, chills, swelling must be evaluated by your health care practitioner promptly.
- If a self-selected remedy – however well indicated – doesn’t help and your symptoms do not improve or your joint pain is chronic, seek expert advice. A doctor will provide a diagnosis and/or a professional homeopath can evaluate your symptoms in the context of your whole person.
