Bug Bites, Stings, Ticks

Choose: a remedy based on which one matches your symptoms most closely.

Dosage:

Take 6, 12 or 30C every 2 hours for the first four doses and up to four times a day after that for no more than 3 days.* Or, see the Dosage Chart.
Stop taking the remedy on improvement.
If pain returns, may be repeated.
If no improvement after a few doses, try a different remedy that matches your symptoms.

Notes:

Bites from unvaccinated animals or poisonous snakes need professional medical attention.
Insect bites that result in great swelling of the face, mouth, difficulty breathing, changes in mental status need immediate medical assistance.
If a bite/puncture becomes infected with a red streak traveling in the direction of the heart, this requires immediate medical assistance.
Minor puncture wounds are discussed below. Major wounds or wounds that don’t heal properly need medical attention. The below remedies may be used in addition to conventional care.
